MUSEUM ACTIVITIES
>> EDUCATION AND OUTREACH PROGRAMME
Thanks to funding from EPA (School of
African Heritage) in Benin, the
Abasuba Museum has launched an Education and Outreach programme whose
aim is to reach out to school children, so as to enhance learning of
heritage and conservation.
The project activities will include:
- Promotion of the Abasuba language through
songs
- Competitions based on knowledge of local
rock art
- Videos shows on the history of the Abasuba
people
- Training on sustainable environmental
management
- Teaching best environmental practices
- Tree planting
- Learning about museums
