>> COUNCIL OF ELDERS
Suba elders

One of the objectives of establishing the Abasuba Museum was to create a space where the Council of Elders could meet and discuss community issues. Periodically, the elders come together to discuss – among other things – issues that could pull apart this peaceful community. The Council of Elders is regarded as the Supreme Court in solving disputes regarding land, marriage, cattle theft, and others. It is fascinating to see how the Council wields incredible power in ensuring that tranquility reigns in the Abasuba community. The museum offers a vibrant meeting place for peace reconciliation and other development activities.
